Active skin conditions like herpes simplex, dermatitis, conjunctivitis or open wounds.
Highly Sensitive or Inflamed Skin: Active acne (severe inflammation), rosacea, eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis in the treatment area.
Recent Dermatological/Aesthetic Procedures:
Accutane/Roaccutane: Use within the last 6 months to 1 year.
Laser/Peels/Microneedling: Wait 2 weeks (or up to 6 months for deep resurfacing).
Botox/Fillers: Wait 2 weeks.
Waxing/Hair Removal: Avoid for 3–7 days prior.
Medical & Systemic Conditions: Active skin cancers (including melanoma) or any active cancer requiring consultant care.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Often contraindicated due to the active acid ingredients (Phytic/Glycolic acid).
Allergies: Known allergies to aspirin, Vitamin A, or specific botanical ingredients (milk, citrus, etc.) used in the peel.
Sun-Damaged Skin: Active sunburn or excessive sun exposure/tanning 3–10 days before treatment.
Medication Usage: Use of photosensitive medications or topical retinoids (Retin-A, Tretinoin) should be stopped at least a week before treatment.
